We have two openings at this time for Java developers to join a our developer team servicing a US client in the Public Safety Systems Industry.

Responsibilities for the open positions include:

• Functional development of Java-based applications utilizing a variety of technologies
• Provide technical analysis and solution recommendations
• Architect and design solutions based on business and technical requirements
• Adherence to development standards and internal / client processes

The applicant must have the following experience and skills:

• BS/MS in Computer Science
• 3+ years experience in design and development of enterprise software using Java/J2EE
• 2+ years experience with enterprise RDBMS
• Experience in Java development environments, plug-ins, and middleware tools such as Hibernate and Spring
• Solid understanding of Java application servers such as Tomcat, WebLogic and JBoss as well as Linux-based operating systems
• Thorough understanding of RDBMS systems such as Postgres and MySQL including design, modeling and implementation
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong English communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
