Q/A Tester

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are a growing organization of enthusiastic, smart, capable and passionate people and we are looking for a Q/A tester. This person will be involved in a variety of projects and work closely with developers and designers in our On-Demand Projects Business Unit. This person will also work from time to time with our Product Development Outsourcing teams. The main activities for this role are:
- Analyze Requirements, Documents and Functional Specifications and create appropriately tailored test plans/test cases
- Work closely with Development team throughout entire development process to understand and resolve issues
- Conduct manual testing, utilize testing tools, and where appropriate Implement automated testing
- Anticipate problems or issues that may arise, forecast high risk areas in software
- Provide timely and meaningful test results to team

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

- 3+ yrs application QA tester experience, with specific experience in a .NET C# development environment preferred
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle (preferably Agile methodologies)
- Experience with quality assurance methodologies
- Experience creating test plans, test cases
- Experience with test automation tools, scripted testing;
- Able to comprehend project goals/requirements;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong English communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
