When a person calls 911 with an emergency, response centers around the world rely on the Computer Aided Dispatching (CAD) system created by InterAct, a public safety technology provider.
The cloud-based software solution helps call takers and dispatchers gather information, make quick decisions about dispatching operations and then share information with emergency responders, including police officers, emergency medical technicians and firefighters. But InterAct had a problem: Many clients needed a high level of support to administer the system effectively, which was proving both costly and time consuming.
